What is Combat Yoga Fitness?
I developed Combat Yoga Fitness™ in 2006 for individuals serving in the military,and veterans experiencing severe states of stress.

The system draws from extensive research, training and studies. It's intended to trigger the relaxation response by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system, resulting in a relaxed state of mind and body.

Why is it called Combat Yoga Fitness?
There has always been two components to yoga, one for healing (which encompasses Ayurveda), and the other for combat . In ancient times, Indian sages developed Vedic martial arts for self-defence and combat, known as Dhanur Veda.
 
What does the program consist of?
It's a self-help program using relaxation techniques, breath control and dynamic flow exercise.
 
Will it interfere with my religious beliefs?
It won't. It's non-denominational.
 
How difficult is it to follow?
It's an easy to follow program that can be completed in 30 minutes. It's also adaptive and based on what you can do and where you can do it.
 
Does it require any special equipment?
All it requires is enthusiasm, a practice space, some loose fitting clothing, water for hydration and a reasonable level of fitness.
 
How often should I practice?
Regularly, at least five times a week or whenever you feel the onset of stress, anxiety or panic.
